Hi Joseph,
You can unsubscribe to email notifications by going into the "Actions" area on the right side of the group page and click "stop sending email notifications"
Due to the massive interest in Raspberry Pi, we have seen historically high participation in that group which has generated a huge number of emails to our servers. Consequently, we have turned off the ability as of March 5th for email notifications to be sent to members, however some of the older notifications (dated prior to March 6th) may still slip through despite your efforts to turn off notifications. The reason for this is our outbound mail server was clogged due to high amounts of traffic. We turned off the notifications on March 5th which should stop any new email notifications from reaching your inbox, however after the mail server was unclogged the old email notifications were released and are now reaching some of your mailboxes despite efforts to turn off notifications.
If you would like to turn off your email notifications so that you stop receiving email alerts from March 6th forward, please review this document and follow the steps to turn off your notifications.
We really appreciate all of your feedback and are working hard to resolve these issues as fast as we can. The team at element14 Community appreciates your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,
Christy - element14
