    HI Dudley,

I'm applying for the tinyTILE roadtest. My submission is viewable here: element14 tinyTILE IntelRegistered CurieTm Based Board

Please see my comment at Apr 12, 2017 7:51 AM for some more detail on the issue.

    How I caused the error:

I allow Google Chrome fill fields and it inserted an 11 char string into the postal code field. Example 00146 ITALY.

If I click submit now, it will crash and give SQL error.

However if I delete a single char so that it's length 10, it will submit happily. Note I cannot physically enter the characters again. I guess Chrome's autofill inserts text a bit differently and this bypassed the webpage form coding on Element14 site.

Here is a screen shot where I replicate issue on a different roadtest.

If I'd been trying to track down what had happened here without your input, this would have wound up as a "Could not reproduce". But as it is, it's really obvious what is happening here - we have a limit of 10 characters on that postal code field, but chrome's autofill has managed to bypass that limit and that's what is causing the breakage.

I'll create a ticket to firm up the back end code so that in this instance, it gives you a much more friendly error message image

Thanks for your hard work. And I'm glad you managed to get your application in! Good luck!

    Duds.

P.S. I'm most envious of your Rome address! Hoping to get to Rome real soon.
