RE: "Roadtest for 2018-2 checking security of drafts"

I received an email notification about this

test

But, when I visit the page, it says:

Access to this place or content is restricted. If you think this is a mistake, please contact your administrator or the person who directed you here.

So, if I'm not authorised to access it, why am I receiving notifications about it?!

Clearly something needs checking there!

    Hi awneil

We had a release last night and this was one of our testers creating test data in the wrong place.

The test process for Roadtests is that they get created in a hidden space and tested out there. That means notifications only get sent out to a restricted group. However, the create roadtest screen defaults to the roadtest area, and it's easy to post without checking the location first. It was a mistake, pure and simple.

I can't say it won't happen again, because every person in the team has at some point created something somewhere they shouldn't have (I won't share mine!), but I can say that it doesn't happen often!

Apologies for the false hope of a new RoadTest. I'm sure rscasny will correct that soon image
