Why are user created videos not being viewed by the community?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone that reads Road Test reviews might offer their opinion on the use of video in the reviews. Last week I went through the listing of all user uploaded videos in Road Test and found that the majority of video segments had zero views. A few had 1 to 10 views, but the majority were at zero views.

I have two discusiion questions:

1. Why are user uplaoded videos not being watched?

2. Do you have any suggestions for making user videos more appealing and/or useful?

My employer's internet usage policy does not allow me to watch videos whilst at work. Others may be in the same situation.

Hi Mark, Thanks, I see how you found that now. It would appear that it counts video views on the page you showed, I just tried viewing it from that page and it bumped the counter. When I tried viewing the other one of mine from the actual roadtest review it appeared not to bump the counter of that one so I guess it does not work so well from a view count tracking point of view - it seems poorly implemented.
