How Responsive Are We to Your RoadTest Questions?

Questions often arise in a roadtest. I get questions about about information stated or not stated on roadtest landing/enrollment pages. I often get questions asking me to extend a roadtest because time zone issues made the applicant miss the deadline, which I normally do. During a roadtest there are questions about shipping, documentation, and technical assistance. 

I receive notifications about any new comment made on a particular roadtest. When I see one, I make a note of it. I first watch to see if someone from the community can provide assistance. The community has a lot of talented, knowledgeable people, so I feel it makes sense to use them as a "local" resource for technical assistance. If the roadtester's problem persists, I get the sponsor involved, which sometimes takes time. My direct sponsor contact usually needs to find the correct person who can provide the assistance. At this point, when the sponsor wants to get involved with the roadtest, I facilitate that involvement. This approach has worked for a long time. But it's not perfect. Perhaps it needs some improvement or tweaking. 

So, I would value your input into our responsiveness with respect to your questions. Are we very responsive, adequate or do we need to improve. Any other comments are appreciated.

    Overall, I think it's adequate ... although when others need to get involved, the time-frames can blow out quite a bit. If the other assistance doesn't understand the "urgency" of the two-month review…

    I think the road test program is run very well and I don't have any issues with it. The main questions that seem to recur are questions about what is included in the kit, especially if there are software…

    Overall, I think it's adequate ... although when others need to get involved, the time-frames can blow out quite a bit. If the other assistance doesn't understand the "urgency" of the two-month review timeline, it could result in some pressure on the review timeframes.

    I can recall at least two difficult roadtests you are were on where sponsor involvement was required. I would agree that others may not be aware of our deadlines. So, I should probably set up a policy where a roadtest review deadline is automatically extended in these situations. Thanks for pointing this out.
