adalm2000I'm planning a roadtest on this product. I'd like to gauge your interest in roadtesting it.

Here's some information about the product:

ADALM2000 is an (M2K) active learning module is an affordable USB-powered data acquisition module that takes the capabilities of the ADALM1000 (M1K) active learning module to the next level. With 12bit ADCs and DACs running at 100MSPS, the ADALM2000 with the Scopy software, brings the power of high performance lab equipment to the palm of your hand, enabling electrical engineering students and hobbyists to explore signals and systems into the tens of MHz without the cost and bulk associated with traditional lab gear. The ADALM2000, when coupled with Analog Devices' ScopyTm graphical application software running on a computer, provides the user with the following high performance instrumentation.

Here are some of its features:

  • Provides access to real circuits and concepts used in an actual real-time engineering environment
  • Available online resources support educator, guide students to learn difficult engineering concepts
  • Hands-on activities stimulate interest and accelerate learning in fundamental engineering concepts
  • Helps to develop critical thinking skills needed for career development
  • 16-ch digital logic analyzer (3.3V CMOS and 1.8V or 5V tolerant, 100MS/s)
  • 16-ch pattern generator (3.3V CMOS, 100MS/s), 16-ch virtual digital I/O
  • 2 input/output digital trigger signals for linking multiple instruments (3.3V CMOS)
  • Digital bus analyzers (SPI, I²C, UART, parallel)
  • 2-ch oscilloscope with differential inputs, 2-ch arbitrary function generator, 2-ch voltmeter

Yes, there are a lot of tough choices to make when on a limited budget. You can use digilent's waveforms with a sound card to get an idea if this type of product would be useful. I have the OEM version…

I agree, it would be great to be able to test ADALM2000 together with ADALP2000 . I have the ADALM1000 with the ADALP2000 and it's definitely a great kit to learn on.

I don't have to much experience so I'd like to see just how easy it is to learn it.

You will discover the need to examine dates before making comments on posts. This activity is lone past.

I can't provide you the detailed explanation but since ever since the move to this software supported site, stale posts (i.e. real old from months to years) come alive. I get excited after reading the opening and post a reply to discover the original post was made some fives years before. Some software anomaly resurrects these post from the dead.

I've inquired and no affirming answer as be offered. I just make it a habit to temper my enthusiasm by reading the date.I'm assuming by your profile points counts you are new to our community. I've still get caught by content that excites me that I want to post, to discover I'm way to late.

OK, I would like to follow that thread. If an account was deleted would the same thing happen. Gremlins go around a pick up the account droppings triggering a refresh.

I guess that might depend upon how it was deleted.

I think a user can choose to delete just the account in which case you probably end up with orphaned posts from:

    image

or alternatively they can choose to delete the account along with all their associated activity.

Admins can delete an account as well and add more variables into the equation.

Another one that does appear to trigger it is spam clean-up activity. If someone reports a comment as containing spam and the admins confirm it as being spam and remove it, then you may get the lightning bolt notification that leads you to a blog/forum with no visible new content.
