We Need You to Test a Cloud Connectivity Manager Eval Kit

One of the most important functions of the element14 RoadTest programmer is to provide some feedback to a supplier who is launching a new product.

Imagine how important it would be to you, if you were introducing a new product to the marketplace and you had some people tell you that your documentation needs a change or you are missing a cable in your kit.

Suppliers come to the element14 community because they know that are members have the background to do this kind of testing.

Some roadtest products are sophisticated and involved to roadtest. I recall a gate driver roadtest a few years ago that was really challenging to roadtest.

And some roadtest products are easy to roadtest. I would put the Raspberry Pi in that category. Even most Arduino boards.

A sponsor would like element14 members to test its new Cloud Connectivity Manager Eval Kit. They say it is easy to use.  Let us help Infineon to verify what they say is what a new customer should experience.

As far as review writing, some roadtest review reports and involved. I am thinking that the report for this product should not be.

If you are a member who would like to get involved in the roadtest program, yet does not have a ton of spare time, this may be the product to start with.

I encourage you to visit the roadtest enrollment page. If this interests you, click the enroll button.

Very generous. But not needed. The exercise can be done for free. Either with a new trial account, or with an existing account at no extra charge.

My first 3 hours of trying to "Get Started" have not been very productive. I'm having thoughts of ending this roadtest early with pyrotechnics. Maybe I'll start again fresh tomorrow.

AWS do indeed provide free credit - in order to get people using AWS. This will definitely be sufficient for any road testing. One small warning though. Whilst Azure will stop working if you run out…

I would suggest following this link for getting started.  Instructions include connecting wifi, adding certificate and transmit/receive mqtt messages from IoT core. Follow the instructions as it is, it will work as intended.
