Seeking Your Interest in Roadtesting Products Used Off the Bench

rscasny

For years, we have primarily roadtested products for the PCB engineer (dev/eval kits), bench test equipment and soldering equipment -- all products typically used on a bench. On a rare occasion, we have roadtested hand tools.

In 2023, we have mostly roadtested dev/eval kits for electronic design engineers who are seeking to evaluate components.

But there are lot of products that engineers, electronic techs, field/lab engineers use "off" the bench. Would you be interested in roadtesting products used "off" the bench? If so, take a look at the Anything But The Bench poll below. I've listed a variety of products and some examples of what this might include. Vote for your primary preference. If you have other preferences, kindly leave a comment below.

Thanks

So you wonder how I find stuff here?? On the left please take note of the crappy screen  (never mind) I did a screen capture: this is the MySQL database that has ALL the parts the table shown is called info and there is another pair of tables one is History, and the other is Location in the shop. anybody who wants it I will give you the SQL to create it. but without the data. I use categories to subdivide the data as there is a lot. It also has a manufacturer table that includes things like CAGE Codes and is the company is active, dead, or replaced.  I currently have about 600 items. No that is not a lot, but when I start to build the aircraft that this simulator is for you are talking about tens of thousands. just for jollies. I have categories for semiconductors, and as I get a new family I add to the list.
