Hi All. I will be roadtesting Arduino's micro-PLC, the Opta, in the near future.
Arduino has been expanding its industrial automation product offerings in the last few years and the Opta fits right into that.
If this is your first exposure to the Opta, let me give you a few facts.
Fact 1 - The Opta is a micro PLC with Industrial IoT capabilities, supporting Arduino programming experience and PLC standard languages. Its STM32H747XI dual-core Arm® Cortex®-M7 +M4 MCU allows users to perform real-time control, monitoring and implement predictive maintenance.
Fact 2 - Secure and durable by design, it supports OTA firmware updates and ensures data security from the hardware to the Cloud thanks to the onboard secure element and X.509 Standard compliance. Various connectivity options are available, along with real-time dashboards combined with the Arduino Cloud (or third-party services).
There are three versions of the Opta:

If you have the time, I'd like to learn how you would apply this micro-PLC. Just a paragraph would do. Thanks.
