What is the B206mini-i?

The NI USRP B206mini-i is a Software Defined Radio (SDR) / cognitive radio witha frequency range of between 70 Mhz to 6 GHz. It contains a user-programmable AMD Spartan-6 XC6SLX150 FPGA and the RF front end uses the Analog Devices AD9364 RFIC transceiver with 56 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth. The board is powered by USB 3.0, and includes connection for GPIO, JTAG, 10 MHz clock reference or PPS time reference input signal.

This seems like a great product and I'd probably use it for Wi-Fi network signal mapping, however I'm not great in programming and this would become a hobby project for me. With AI I might be able to do a few things. I do have a few Wi-Fi 7 travel routers to test with.

This is a perfect candidate for testing some weak signal detection along with some SAR applications I am looking to work on.

Awesome device for SDR stuff! Can't wait to try it out.

Got some seriously impressive specs...USB3 and AD9364, better than the AD9363 ( ADALM-PLUTO's RF TRx) in terms of receiver sensitivity and tunable bandwidth.

Since it uses the Spartan-6 FPGA...gotta fallback for ISE to get the custom PL blocks running on the FPGA. So if it's possible including the LabVIEW License along with the hardware would help a lot for the RoadTest.

The Ettus USRP hardware also got MATLAB support via the Communications Toolbox!

Python API support makes it easier to automate the tests.

This is right in my interest area. Work with EW systems during the day, so I would love to give one of these a try and see how they compare to the proprietary systems out there.
