I think that this may need some parts with it to give it the full run, but wow the rotation speed is 10krpm? Zoomies. 60mm position sensor. Perhaps that needs some motor accompanyment.

    This might work very well integrated into the motor drive gear trains of an astronautical telescope drive for computer controlled star finder operation.  Closed loop feedback would provide certainty in pointing as opposed to relying on stepper motors and making the assumptions of no slipping of gear shafts and backlash problems.
