All RoadTest Reviews must be submitted on the official review form, not a blog

Some roadtesters submit their reviews on blogs. This is incorrect. We have a special content type that is used for roadtest reviews. To located the official review form, please go here:

Frederick, That's quite alright. If a roadtester has additional information, it's fine to place those on blogs and create an index of links on the official roadtest review form. This discussion concerns…

    Hi Randall,

I just did for my Pi-Top review. I am aware of the review form, but for structure and periodic updates, some roadtesters, including myself have used this approach. Mainly to avoid a big "blob" in a single post, improving readability and structure.
The review form would then contain links to the various blogs, tying everything together.

Am I to conclude this is not OK to do?

    Frederick,

That's quite alright. If a roadtester has additional information, it's fine to place those on blogs and create an index of links on the official roadtest review form.

This discussion concerns roadtesters who do not use the official form at all. Instead, they are putting their review only on a blog.

I can understand that if you had a lot to say about a product, placing it all into the official form could be too long.

I just want to make sure roadtesters are using the official form.

    Randall

Hi Randall, do you contact people that have not carried out the procedure correctly if they have made a mistake? I know my last review was done the right way but seeing it was a long time ago since the previous roadtest that I did, there may have been some changes that I am not aware of.

    Hi Malcolm,

Randy and I both watch for reviews to be posted and check through them, so if there is any issue we'll definitely get in touch!
