Reminder to RF specialists--Antenna RoadTest Needs You

I know I am running a lot of interesting roadtests at the moment. But if you have RF or antenna expertise, I'd appreciate if you'd take a look at the antenna roadtest I am enrolling for:

 

Molex 2.4GHz / 5GHz Antenna Kit

 

I'd say it's probably the most important roadtest that's running right now. Perhaps we may forget how important an antenna (or I should say a good antenna) is to a wireless system. So, seeing a roadtest on antennas is important (and a good learning experience too).

  • With seventeen years of RF experience, much of it garnered during the tube era, I have little access to resources to do testing.

     

    I wish I had access to the RF test equipment because I would love to try and provide radiation pattern for the different antennas.

    Thanks for the comment. I was aware that this may be the issue for some roadtesters when I agreed to running the roadtest. But I think it's a roadtest I wanted to run anyway. It's a necessary part of a wireless solution and I felt our community, and especially the makers should know more about antennas.
