This sketch activates the motors connected between OUT1-2 and OUT3-4.
One cycle:
- Activation for 2 s in one direction
- The motors are braked for 300ms
- Activation for 2 s in the other direction
- The motors are braked for 300ms
The open load and overcurrent for OUT1-4 registers are read back during
each activation/deactivation.The overcurrent and open load registers for OUT1-4 are cleared at the
end of each cycle. It would be interesting to have the data sent by the serial monitor for
5, 6V and 12V supply.I also suggest to increase the current limitation of the power supply to
e.g. 2A. As discussed I suspect that:
- some motors draw too much current and trigger the
overcurrent latch-off - At low voltage, power supply output drops below
the device undervoltage shutdown (due to the motor inrush current)
