EasyPIC Fusion™ v7 – the most complete development board for dsPIC , PIC24 and PIC32!
Over the years Microchip have shipped nearly 1.5 Million development tools to their customers – mostly low cost tools that simplify and accelerate the design- in of Microchip’s  MCUs, analog and memory parts. Microchip encourages 3rd Party Tool providers to participate in the development and production of additional tools . MikroElektronika is probably one of the most  trusted Third Party Tool providers Microchip  have  with  products ranging  from simple starter boards , PIC based PLCs, Compilers, Debuggers through to highly integrated platforms that require little addition hardware.image
EasyPIC Fusion™ v7 is Mikroe’s latest PIC® MCU  platform  and combines support for three different Microchip architectures: dsPIC33, PIC24 and PIC32 on  a single development board . It contains many on-board modules, including Multimedia, Ethernet, USB, CAN and others. An on-board mikroProg™ programmer and debugger supports 65 microcontrollers via MCU cards.
Engineers, Students who already have Microchip PICKits or ICDs are not forgotten since the board includes an RJ-12 socket.

As you can see from  the photo – this board contains almost everything  you might need and provides access to all of the MCU pins / peripherals . Code development can be done using Mikroe’s  excellent  MikroeC , MikroeBasic , MikroePascal compliers or Microchip’s new MPLAB XC compilers.
For the Roadtest, Mikroe will be providing the EasyPIC Fusion™ v7 board populated with a PIC32MX7 MCU card + they have kindly bundled a MikroC compiler for PIC32 . Road test boards will be pre programmed with various applications providing an exciting ‘out of the box’ experience.
Webinar
mikroElektronika will be hosting a webinar on the EasyPIC Fusion™ v7 on July 3. EasyPIC Fusion v7 - Development platform for dsPIC33, PIC24 and PIC32.

    Best Regards, Christian

  • I don't think you can modify an application, you have to email the listed owner of the Roadtest.

Looking for an answer to your question has led me to find I have been approved for a number of Roadtests and didn't know this had happened so therefore haven't given a review, nor did I receive any product (apart from one where I did provide a review), which of course would have alerted me to the fact I had been selected.

Even more frustrating is it is hard to know who to contact to let them know this problem exists.

I am not an amused bunny at this moment.

  • Hello Barnard,

Thank you very much for the info, I can view my RoadTest applications there but no status info and modification options are available.

    Any idea about this?

  • Click on 'My Account' next to your log in at the top of the page, then select 'Road Test' from the list. You should then see a vertical menu block on the bottom left of your screen headed 'My Content', in this list will be a 'Road Test Options', click on that and it will take you to a list of all the Roadtests you have applied for and whether or not they have been approved.

I don't think they have selected the people for this one yet, but I could be wrong.

  • How to view my Roadtest Application and status?

  • Fusion v7 contains TFT display, microSD card slot for data storing and USB device and host facilities. With dsPIC33EP MCU card, this dev kit will be a great platform for Digital Signal Processing and Analysis. More over it has mP3 codec. However, roadtest includes PIC32MX7 MCU card, which would be a powerful option.

  • What processor board(s) are included?

  • It doesn't state if it is the full C compiler or the trial versions which normally come bundled with Mikroelektronika.

There is of course always the trial version that can be downloaded.

  • I was excited, then I saw that they were only bundling the MikroC compiler. I wanted an excuse to learn Pascal!
