TI Value Line Development Kit 868-915MHzThe CC11xLDK-868-915 development kit provides a complete hardware performance testing and software development platform for TI's Sub-1 GHz Value Line. The development kit comes with a pre-programmed packet error rate test. RF range and robustness can be tested with different RF settings, and powerconsumption can be measured easily. This kit supports 868MHz and 915MHz. An extra Evaluation Module Kit (CC11XLEMK-433) is needed to evaluate 433MHz.

  • Agilent,  makes great test equipment.  I've used them for years from simple signal testing to counter RFIED testing . The equipment is easy to remote, network and program.

  • you are right. I never had any experience with Agilent, from what i know, at least user interface is brilliant.
    Funny think in Agilent video about N9322C, is when they use keyboard, time is going 5x faster, and at that speed it looks good. The only think they didn't want to show,did get my attention, well done image.

     

    But it looks it have better noise flour, and because it's only designed for one thing, it should perform better for usual RF measurements.

  • There is no doubt the Tektronix MDO4000 oscilloscope was a great Road Test product and stands out as the most innovative oscilloscope I've ever seen.  The MDO3000 6-in-1 recently offered is also in the top category  You point out the same features in the MDO4000 that I thought of when comparing it to the current Agilent N9322C offering. I'm not sure the N9322C will come with the tracking generator option, but either way, it would be so much fun to Road Test a full featured basic spectrum analyzer on all the cool technology in the TI RF dev kit.  My assumption at this point is that the spectrum analyzer in the MDO4000 will have an edge over the N9322C on capture bandwidth for sure, and the internal linkage to time domain presentation and analysis in the MDO4000 series is brilliant and tough to beat.  That said, the Agilent N9322C is very feature rich and has the appeal of being an Agilent engineered instrument.  My recent experience with Agilent products has been transformative.  The competition between Agilent and Tektronix in the bench test equipment market has been fierce of late and very beneficial for end users.

     

    We will know better where the two instruments stand on the podium once the reviews come out.

  • No, best was MDO4000, since it had 4 channels at 1GHz each, 16 logic channels, and 9khz to 6GHz spectrum analyzer with 1000x higher capture bandwidth, with only 10x higher resolution bandwidth.
    Only better thing that N9322C have Tracking generator, so if will be good for simple testing
