Detailed Review:

In present days 3D printing is emerging technology covering to design physical items like Object Parts, interior decors, flower pots, molds, gear wheels, chairs, spanners, toys, containers, funnels, structures, broken parts, water filters and what not. Daily supplies and industrial products are mostly designed with fused deposition modeling (FDM) systems which was largely attracted by engineers, scientists, students, etc. In this many items I would like to print  “TOYS”. As cartoon characters are very rare to present for kids so the 3D printed models help them to bring fun and play.

In my design lab FDM 3D printer is available to test and design the suitable shape and size of Toys with roadtest filament reels.

The FDM 3D printer mainly use the PLA, ABS, PETG filament to design the items, in the current roadtest MC011473 PETG, MP002547 PLA and MP005454 eSilk-PLA filaments are supplied is the great opportunity to use in the printer and test the printed items.

3D Printer filaments for the roadtest:

MC011473

  • PETG Filament that combines the advantages of ABS and PLA
  • No smelling while printing
  • Low shrinkage
  • Low hygroscopic
  • Good toughness

MP005454

  • eSilk-PLA in metallic colours are similar to PLA, with good mechanical properties and toughness, enviromentally friendly and non-toxic.
  • Low shrinkage, good print performance
  • Compatible with 99.99% of 3D printers on the market

MC002547

  • Robust printing results with good glossiness
  • Biodegradable and environmentally friendly thermoplastic
  • No cracking or wiredrawing problems
  • Multicomp products are rated 4.6 out of 5 stars

3D designs for Rabbit, JJ, Cat, Snowman in minecraft characters in cartoons gaming

The 3D designs are feed to the 3D printer software to slice and Export G-code to the printer.

image

The G-code is transferred to the printer and desire temperature are setup a test is performed for designing. The roadtest filament is installed in the tray and the temperature value is loaded.

Printer is started to design the objects as per the G-code data.

Once the printing is completed the unwanted threads are cleaned to assemble the parts to a model and below pictures shows the designs printed will the 3D printer.

Conclusion:

The 3D Printer filament MP005454 eSilk-PLA in metallic color is similar to PLA, with good mechanical properties and toughness, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. It has Low shrinkage, good print performance and Compatible with 99.99% of 3D printers on the market. It was good to print and the wastage of material is less and it can be easily incorporate in any 3D printer which is suitable of 190 to 230 degree Centigrade. The material is strong and flexible the roadtest filament can be used to design a beautiful looking items which will be prefect for the golden color objects like lion, camel, cheetah, dear, kangaroo, Trophy, monuments models, etc. The color appear bright and many of the 3D printer models user can load the roadtest filament to design their desire models.
