In 2020 the element14 community roadtestested about 50 products, spanning test equipment to IOT development kits to a lot of "cool" tools, and much more. For a challenging (pandemic) year, that's an impressive number of roadtests! But which products were the favorite ones of the roadtesters and the element14 community at large? To find out, I created a poll ( Poll: What Was Your Most Favorite Roadtested Product in 2020? ) and asked the community. My poll listed the top 12 products with the most applications. I let the element14 community vote on their favorite product.
Without further adieu, here are the top three favorite products roadtested in 2020:
First Place: Raspberry Pi HQ Camera
The Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera is the latest camera accessory from Raspberry Pi. It offers higher resolution (12 megapixels, compared to 8 megapixels), and sensitivity (approximately 50% greater area per pixel for improved low-light performance) than the existing Camera Module v2, and is designed to work with interchangeable lenses in both C- and CS-mount form factors.
