Poll: Do You Have an Interest in Attending a "RoadTest Q&A" Webinar?

I've been thinking about this on and off for several months: a RoadTest Q&A webinar.

What is a RoadTest Q&A Webinar?

I think it would cover ll the basic questions about application and review writing? Tips on the selection process? Learning about Roadtests from the point of view of the sponsor. Tax liability issues? How to get help on a roadtest. What kind of problems you would prefer to roadtest? This sort of thing.

If you would be interested in attending this type of webinar, please indicate so in the poll questions below.

If you have other things you would like covered or have other comments about this sort of webinar, please leave a comment.

Thnks.

Good point to have some basic loose "standard" format to follow to have some consistency.

    Would be interested.

A guide for beginners to write roadtest reviews would be really useful, especially for me.

(Especially after I rated something a F thinking it was equivalent to a C or B)

I think the information would be great, being able to attend the webinar and having the ability to voice questions would be ideal.  But even having access to the recorded webinar would be an awesome piece of education.  Due to the nature of E14 being worldwide sometimes getting the appropriate time to be on a webinar can be difficult but having access to the recorded edition is always a win!

Great idea Randall. The Road Test Sponsor is the "customer" . It critically important to get customer feedback as to Road Test expectations.

I also wonder why we as Road Testers never get feedback from a sponsor - either if they liked the comments, or comments inspired changes/improvements, or affected their business direction with that product.

When Road Testing I provide a detailed punch list of stuff to sponsor needs to fix or do better, things that usually would be found in a product release process by doing a FMEA or a quality review.

I wonder if the sponsor already knows these shortcomings, either hasnt fixed them yet, wanting to see if anyone notices them or wanting feedback if these issues are worth fixing,  or if they even care at all about engineering details.

    or

Is the RoadTest sponsor looking for feelings ( which I as an engineer has had most of my feelings beaten out of me   :-)   )

or opinions , more like a marketing / sales feedback on their product ?

Your “how to apply for a road test” post answered my questions. Of course it’s been a while.
