I'll buy you the octopus arms if you can find it on Newark? What's the SKU number?

I picked "other" because on this list I need more that one. I am new to this and don't have any tools right now but a cheap $5 soldering iron, some solder(60/40), snips, automatic wire strippers and that…

Given I'm mostly interested in Power Electronics, I voted for Spectrum Analyzer.

Build quality matters to me, and lots of EMI/noise is a sign of bad engineering.

Maybe with one of those near-field probe sets as well.

I picked "other" because on this list I need more that one. I am new to this and don't have any tools right now but a cheap $5 soldering iron, some solder(60/40), snips, automatic wire strippers and that's about it. I still need so much but being a nearly homeless veteran makes it very difficult to buy things because my income is only the $280ish disability compensation that the Dept. of Veteran Affairs provides each month. So the things on the list that I really would like to get as soon as possible are the bench power supply, digital multimeter (with very, very fine probe tips), Oscilloscope, soldering station (including Rework Station and special tips), 3D printer and specialty hand tools for repairs and recycling parts for TV's, computers, Apple Watches, iPhones, and others.

Looks like 24W7707 might be a closest fit ;).

I picked other, too bad we can't pick multiple.  I would really like a source measure unit, but could also use a 3D printer, arbitrary waveform generator, spectrum analyzer and programmable power supply.

It will be great to road-test a thermal camera or a robot kit.

I voted 3D printer, but I'll really buy a benchtop power supply next.  Then I'll want a better one... Thumbsup.

Some decent thermal imaging camera would be on my list, but a VNA is pretty good too, so I've chosen that for the purposes of the poll.

I voted Signal Generator. For selfish reasons. Mine isn't programmable.
