What Kind of Test Equipment is Missing on Your Bench for Roadtests?

Many roadtests require test equipment beyond a multimeter. What kind of test equipment would you like to have for a roadtest yet do not currently own?

(After you vote, you will see the overall results.)

And the small print just keeps getting smaller even on the large parts.

I was trying to verify the voltage rating of a wallwart PSU the other day and it was magnifying glass territory. Not good as people will just plug it in and hope for the best.

A roadtest on inspection equipment could certainly be interesting.

as my eyes get older, and parts gets smaller, a soldering microscope would be a great addition to my workbench.

An Audio Spectrum Analyzer would be a nice addition to my bench ... along with an Electronic Load and a Programmable Power Supply (to name a few).  Let me know if you need my shipping address Laughing

I voted for spectrum analyzer but probably I should have vote for other, because I don't even have a bench. I'm going to share something about my life, last year I got a new job and I moved to Milwaukee, US from México; this has been a big change for me. Basically, I'm starting from zero on all electronics related activities. The only thing that I bring with me is a raspberry pi, I can say that I miss having a multimeter, so any other advance tool including a bench, or a spectrum analyzer would be a great improvement.

I voted for oscilloscope because that can help to someone who works with communication protocols such as i2c, spi and other signal processing tasks to look at what is there on the bus...

I am missing an audio spectrum analyzer, SMU, RLC meter, electronic load, etc and a couple of things could use an upgrade, but I can get by with what I have .... Relaxed

I suspect many people would like to select more than one ... after all, even my rather sizeable workbench is far from complete!
