which facors  limit the development the Hybrid and electronic vehicle ?

  • With the implementation of energy saving and environmental protection laws and regulations，I think the Hybrid and electronic vehicle has a bright future, but at  present, There are many limit factors limit it's development. the first factor is cost. the user can't spend much more money on the new kind of vehicle than the traditional vehicle. but the cost can't be decreased fastly, because the cost of the power battery. the other factor of the user concern is How long is it can drived after charging one time?and how long it spends on the charging time? and where are the charging stations?

     

    there are so much questions should be solved. so I think it's very difficult to attract the general user buy it. there is a long way to go.

  • As I see it all of these limit the development to a certain extent:

     

    • Energy Storage (Battery expense and limited cycles), although closed loop hydrogen systems look promising.
    • Current safety standards force vehicles to be quite heavy when made out of metal stampings making them less inefficent. A styrofoam filled plastic structure might be a solution.
    • Poor marketing decisions (making 300+hp V8's when gas is $4.00/gal)

    I agree with you. On the western china international economy & trade fair, shenzhen mottcell battery technology company shows their electric vehicle batteries,

    and the chengdu bus factory also shows their new electric buses and hybrid electronics buses, use the batteries only, the drive distance is about 300 to 400Km, and the full charging time is about 8 hours.  I think that the electric vehicle and electric bus will be developmented fastly, Let's look at that!
