涡轮增压(TURBOCHARGER)技术

汽车技术发展到现在已有上百年的历史了,如今的汽车技术更是丰富。而随着近年来全球对环保意识的增强,对汽车的排放标准的限制越来越严格,汽车制造商不仅要满足环保要求,同时又要满足客户的需求,保证足够的驾驶乐趣。

 

     涡轮增压便是一个能够满足各方面要求的发动机技术,它能降低排放量并提高燃油经济性,同时又不失驾驶乐趣。涡轮增压器之所以能提供更好的燃油经济性,是因为增压会给燃烧室提供更多的空气,使燃烧更彻底,排放更干净。相对于汽油机,CO2的排放与相同功率的自然吸气发动机要少10-20%。而且在高海拔地区也能满足空气供给,在冷启动时使三元催化更快进入工作。

 

    涡轮增压的全称是TURBOCHARGER。目前国内可以买到的原装搭载涡轮增压系统引擎的车型并不多,而且都属于中型级别以上,如VAG旗下,VW的PASSAT 1.8T、BORA 1.8T;国产AUDI的A6 1.8T、A4 1.8T,进口的TT、ALROAD QUATTRO 2.7T(V6 Biturbo)以及保时捷凯宴-TURBO等车型;

 

     对于一般用户而言,买台带涡轮增压车型后的第一个反应就是:“比普通车的自然吸气引擎车动力强劲了不少!

 

     或许对于普通人来说,涡轮增压引擎好像有点复杂,但是,只有理解了涡轮增压本身的原理的话,不论是单TURBO,或者双TURBO、甚至4TURBO的形式,其工作的目的、流程和原理都是一样的。简单地陈述其原理,无非就是利用引擎经过爆炸行程后产生的高温、高速废气,通过特殊形状的名为排气蕉(DOWN PIPE),流入废气侧涡轮,并推动废气侧内的涡轮叶片转动,同时,与废气侧涡轮叶片同轴相连的生气端压缩叶轮,会对流经风格后的生气进行压缩,压缩气体经过中央冷却器(INTERCOOLER)冷却后,成为带有一定压力的和高密度的新鲜空气,流经节气门和进气歧管后,进入气缸内燃烧。

 

    不过,凡事有一利就有一弊,第一,涡轮增压技术确实能够提高发动机的性能,但是它对发动机制造技术及汽油的要求也随之提高,需要抗暴震性更好的汽油,因此应用成本自然也会高幅增加,这就是为什么涡轮增压技术通常被用在价格较高的进口车型中的原因。第二,涡轮增压在响应方面有迟滞现象,不如自然吸气式的响应直接。第三,用涡轮增压来增加动力输出虽然轻而易举,但是伴随着增压所产生的高热却必须妥善处理。

 

    在使用保养上,涡轮增压车还是需要一点小技巧,像是接近目的地时尽量不要拉高转速再让涡轮作动,停车之后让引擎怠速空转至少一分钟,别让涡轮转子在无机油润滑的情况下高速运转过久,这些都对维持优良车况会有相当大的帮助。
