The 2011 New York Auto Show had its share of the studs and the duds.

The general mood at the Show seemed to reflect the burgeoning fuel prices of the time as many strived to put forth the most fuel-efficient vehicle.

Here is a list of the top ten that we felt deserved special mention as the hits of the 2011 NYIAS.

You left out two that should have made the list (perhaps instead of the Hyundai Accent and the Nissan Leaf Nismo--93mph top speed, 20 minute range, c'mon, electric or not this isn't a race car): 1)The new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe: 481 horses from a 6.2-liter V8 and 2) the Lexus LF-GH concept.

I did not make the list! a lot of our favourites were not included as well
