Industry standard embedded device

Hello,

This might be a broad question, but I wanted to know if there was a different alternative to using a raspberry pi since they are used more in DIY projects. If I were to look for a more industry standard board what would be some suggestions or where exactly should I start? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

    Hey Doug, thanks for reaching out. The application would be in agtech measuring sensors and have cameras. So it would have to withstand high temperatures and different types of harsh weather. Ideally, it would also have to be Linux based as well. 

  • There are many alternatives, including many with similar features. What types of applications are you interested in and what development environment do you prefer?

    Incidentally, Raspberry Pi's are increasingly used in embedded industrial applications. They can be considered along with other solutions depending on whether they meet requirements.
