New Proteus Libraries for Engineering Students

Hello friends, we have designed many Proteus Libraries on our blog The Engineering Projects which are not yet developed and we are really very proud that we are the first designers for these Proteus Libraries. I am gonna share all those Proteus Libraries in this instructable so that Engineering Students can download them and use them in their Projects.

I have also designed their videos in which I have explained in detail How to use these Proteus Libraries. So, you can join our You Tube Channel to have a look at these Proteus Libraries. Here are the links:

  • Our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbVgl6VOoqgq8FalMq6vikw
  • Our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/theengineeringprojects

So, let's get started with these New Proteus Libraries for Engineering Students:

Don't these already exist, but minus the website URL on each graphical component? Comparison:

Perhaps shabaz is referrign to this statement we are really very proud that we are the first designers for these Proteus Libraries Mark

Exactly that, @junaid, this was confusing because they already exist.

There are many cracked or unlicensed copies of Proteus about. I was always telling my students not to use these as it was basically illegal and also against University policy (to use any unlicensed software). Fortunately the owners of Proteus used to give us about 100 free student licences every year, probably as we spent a fortune on renewing the licence every year, but these only lasted a year.

I preferred EasyPCB, I wonder if this is still going, but I was not the decision maker. It did take me about 10 years to learn how to use Proteus and even at the end it would still do things that I could not understand, or prevent, or even repeat. Once a student accidentally put an IC on the bottom of the PCB and no matter what we all tried we just could not get it to move to the top - which was important as we only made single sided PCBs in-house. That PCB layout class used to be my longest class. We would start at 2.00pm and just keep going until all the students had a fully routed design, as they had to be emailed to the technician to be made for the following week. Sometimes I was still there at 8.00 or 9.00pm at night - by then I may not have been at my usual happy self.
