Problem with Xplain Development Board and Display Xplained

Last week I got a Xplain Development Board and the Xplained Display for it.

Now I am playing with it. Of course a really interesting development kit.

Today I had plugged the display onto the Xplain board and loaded the Xmega

with the available test software from Atmel.

I tried the ready-to-play-with binaries display-demo-xplain.hex and display-training-xplain.hex

files.

Always after repowering the Xplain board the display shows only the "Touch screen calibration"

screen.

But the touch screen does not recognize any touches... :-(

I tried to use the AVR Studio with the sources instead of the binaries or tried to debug the

running application with the JTAG port.

No idea what is going wrong... There are absolutely no errors which the debugger could show me or

errors within compiling (with the actual WinAVR 20100110).

Has everyone from you made the same experience? Any ideas?

Thank you an advance

    Hi all,

for your interest, I found the source of the mistery effect by myself :-)

There are some incorrect lines in the demosources from Atmel...

The error was found in the app-calibrate.c source where there was a faulty handling of the TOUCH_RELEASE event.

Commenting out the lines 158 and 159 and recompiling the display-training sources helps to show that the resistive touch function works....

    Regards
