Sakakibara Machinery Co., Ltd has come out with yet another cool ‘amusement’ toy, this time designed for kids. The “Kid’s Walker” as it’s called is essentially a robot looking go-kart. The machine itself is powered by a gas engine and rolls along on wheels hidden by feet that simulate the action of walking. The unit is controlled by joysticks located next to the robots arms, which as far as I can tell, do nothing. Then again if they do, what parent wants their child to be able to destroy their car in a candy fueled rage? The price tag for this seems a little too high at $21,000 but you do have the option to rent this as well. The company introduced the “Land Walker” not too long ago for the adult crowd that comes complete with air powered guns that shoot soft rubber sponges. Alright kids, time to battle! Here's mine:
