I’ve noticed in recent days that more people are trying to come financially independent by doing it all themselves. One of the issues with home board fabrication is burning all the chips in one at a time. I’ve been there, and asked a friend to sit there and swap chips for me. But all of us don’t have friends that could be bribed into doing something so mundane. But fear not, an impressive solution is close at hand.
The Roboprogrammer, an automatic single socket programming that loads chips on its own. I can not find any designs, code, or even too many pictures on the device. So, making one of these is almost a design from scratch situation.
I mostly want to see how the motion control portion is designed. I have a CNC mill, and would love to add some of the features he has made on the Roboprogrammer. Perhaps he will let the world know how.
