Everybody now a days have some sort of business card. Some have really cool designs printed on them and others have a transparent design reminisant of a credit or debit card. Suffice it to say; it’s all been done before. Or has it? Frank Zhao has come up with a new way to impress potential jobs, clients, or the next date with a USB card. Not only does he have his website printed on the PCB face but also the instructions on how to read the info on it. Frank accomplished his card by using a circuit design that in his words is very simple, “3 resistors, 1 capacitor, 2 Zener diodes, 1 ATtiny85. The PCB is partly personalized "art" and the USB portion. Not the first one I've seen, but what I like about it is the small components and the angle in which the card plugs into a usb port; following the artistic action line of 45 degrees.
I like the concept, but the curface mount chips still make the card just a gimmick and not exactly the most wallet friendly.
