Micrium has announced that its uC/OS-III RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) now supports the Cypress Semiconductors ARM Cortex-M3 based, 32-bit PSoC 5.
Micrium’s uC/OS-II and uC/OS-III are kernels designed specifically for embedded systems. The uC/OS-III port for the ARM Cortex-M family uses assembly language optimizations to achieve maximum efficiency in frequently executed kernel functions.uC/OS-II and uC/OS-III can each be used alone or in conjunction with other software components from Micrium’s product line-up.
PSoC 5 devices offer integrated analog resources and PLD-based Universal Digital Blocks for implementing standard and custom digital peripherals.
