ARM Comparison

Hi,

We are looking to move away from our 8 bit micros to ARM processor. There seems to be so many vendors, I was wondering if anyone had come across a comparison of the various ARM (I am looking for Cortex family) from the various Vendors (TI, NXP, ST, Freescale, etc)?

Do you know which Cortex you plan to use, M3, M0 etc, and what type of application do you plan to use it in? The available peripherals for the application may be the key to your decision

We are moving from a C8051 micro using assembler and only want to make the move once so want to eveluate all of the options.
