As its tag line states, this blog covers the many aspects of how software and silicon can be combined to produce practical embedded solutions. In doing so, it has covered a variety of subjects, ranging from an advanced i.MX 6 series application processor, to operating systems such our own MQX RTOS and Mentor Graphics’ Power Architecture-based version of Android. It also covered new systems for enabling embedded software development that include a cost-effective i.MX53 Quick Start Board and a modular Tower System. Last but not least, the tools required to debug the embedded software for these products got their turn in this blog, such as Freescale’s own CodeWarrior tools for multicore development and CriticalBlue’s Prism for multicore software analysis.
