Altium expands Sales & Support network in France
Altium reseller CADvision strengthens market position with additional office in Nantes
Karlsruhe, Germany – 27 October 2011 - Altium announces the opening of a new office in Nantes, France, as a result of the strong development of activities by Altium’s French partner and value added reseller (VAR) CADvision. In addition to CADvision’s offices in Guyancourt and Valence, this will be the third facility in France to support and expand the Altium user base. Customers benefit from local services, technical support and training classes provided in the region.
Michael Leidel, Regional Manager Channels EMEA from Altium Europe comments: "Altium’s current business growth in France calls for an increased presence in this area. Western France is a region well known for its dynamic electronic industry, and Altium is fully supporting CADvision in this area."
With the new version of Altium Designer 10 and the AltiumLive ecosystem, Altium aims to empower the electronics design industry to meet the needs of electronics designers in a connected future. Altium Designer provides electronics designers with smart design data management, FPGA/PCB co-design, real-time 3D PCB design, integrated version control, managed release processes, and much more. Altium Designer is linked to AltiumLive, a new web-based ecosystem that acts as a conduit for delivering content and services directly to customers on the Altium subscription plan, and provides a platform that designers using Altium's products can harness to more rapidly create cloud-connected electronic devices. This provides new business growth opportunities for both CADvision and Altium in France.
Julien Markarian, Director of CADvision comments: "The Nantes office allows us to be closer to our customers located in the Great West. We look forward to growing our business in this region and provide excellent service to our customers. The technical and sales team is already in place, and we're on the starting blocks! "
