Release notes :
- Makefile Projects – Allows you to build outside the IDE via the command line, i.e., no management of the makefile or build process within the IDE. Also, you can choose the artifact of the build that you want to load into IDE memory once the build is complete.
- PIC32 SKDE connection stabilization – Resolved several connection issues.
- HCS device programming support added for PICkit 3, MPLAB ICD 3, and MPLAB REAL ICE in-circuit emulator – You may now program Secure Devices (HCS) with these tools.
- Graphical Display Designer (GDD) for MPLAB X IDE v1.00 available – This plug-in from MPLAB IDE v8 is now available in MPLAB X IDE.
- MPLAB IPE Engineering mode - Allows the engineer to set parameters that can and cannot be adjusted by a technician.
