Who wants Energy Micro EFM32 dev kits?

fustini
fustini over 11 years ago

I attended a Energy Micro seminar back in December and got 2 dev kits:

  • EFM32 Wonder Gecko Starter Kit | Silicon Labs
  • EFM32 Zero Gecko Starter Kit | Silicon Labs

I've not been able to use the boards I got so I'm going to give both of these devkits for free it to one lucky element14 Community member (sorry, no minors, you must be 18 years of age or older):

    1. Reply to this post with a short description of why you are interested (1 to 2 sentences is fine)
    2. I'll will pick a winner at random on Tuesday, March 4th, at 7pm US CDT.

Note: I'm located in Chicago and will ship it for free to the winner using the lowest cost option available.  If the winner is located outside the US, then the winner will be responsible for paying any customs fees or duty that may apply.  I will list the value as $150 USD.

Cheers,

Drew

a nice addition to our current stock of µCs image

    Drew,

First, thank you for offering these boards. Second, although the Zero Gecko has the better display (and cute game), the Wonder Gecko has a FPU and DSP extensions and would be more useful for my applications.

    Drew,

I'm always interested in experimenting with new hardware, especially with DSP-capable hardware.  Would like to give these a try.

Working for the wounded warrior care program at the pentagon I am always in search of new ways to spark the interest of our hero's as they recover.  These are specifically the type of items that can draw them from their private hell back to a feelings of usefulness.  These types of donations don't get any publicity but can do wonders for the well being of our troops.  Please consider.

    Thanks

Not entering to be eligible, but just to recommend the STK3700 development kit to you! It's been used in the Energy Harvesting Solutions Roadtest Challenge!

    Hi Drew,

Thank you for offering these two dev kits.

I'm interested in the two boards : The wonder gecko for the DSP capability in a computer board with UNB radio modem and the zecko gecko for a sensor board (pressure transmitter). I'm also interested to test the memoryLCD.

    Sylvain
