Custom PVC Boards

Hey, I want to build some USB 3 Ports into my desk, now I thought to save all the cables I want to have them all going into one box and solder them to a custom PVC Board which will merge them into one USB Cable. Like you can see in my quick diagram below, messy but just an example of how I would see my PVC Board looking.

What would be the best way to do this, and would this work well? Or would data transfer slow down due to all that data going thought just one cable? And what's the best service to get this PVC Board created?

Hmm, I'm no expert, but I don't think you can do that to a USB cable.. each socket needs to go to an individual device, definitely for data transfer.. you could probably do it for charging devices, but…

There are various PCB services you could use with any designs you come up with, depending on what country you're in - here might be a good place to start PCB Prototyping

    Hi Martyn,

As Matt says, this would need a circuit, the wires can't be connected together without it. There are USB 3.0 ICs such as this oneUSB 3.0 ICs such as this one which could be used.
