Microchip for WI-Fi & PWM

Hi,

I want to build a illumination controller. But for that, I need a small Michrochip that uses Wi-Fi (Already integrated) and PWM. Do you know any Microchip that can cover my necesities?

Hi Esteban, Most microcontrollers support some PWM capability, but not many support 802.11. Perhaps the CC3200 is worth exploring. A getting started guide is here.

Yes, the CC3200 would work for that. You could also look at the Arduino Yún Mini or go for a 2 board solution using your favourite micro-controller board with a Wifi module like the ESP8266, Dragino HE…

Hi Guys, I am using the Arduino Yun for the prototype. But I was looking for something cheaper for production. Anyway, I will have to use microcontroller & Module by separate. I will use PIC12F1572 & RN171…
