Choosing Hardware for Sensor Node

I am having a doubt, please help me out....

 

I am trying to make a sensor node, and for that I have two launchpads as options from which I would like to choose:

1) MSP430F5529

2) MSP430FR5969

 

Which one should I choose?

 

Pros and cons will be greatly appreciated (I am already aware of the cost I wish to know in terms of power consumption, functionality and OS porting).

FRAM technology combines the speed, flexibility, and endurance of SRAM with the stability and reliability of flash at much lower power.
