hot glue gun problem

Hi

I have a huge problem. I bought a hot glue gun yesterday and I used it today.

It worked well but after I stoped using the gun, glue continued flowing. I don't know what to do to solve this problem.

can anybody give me some advice on how to solve this?

Hi Panagiotis,

I have found that over flow is to be expected. Sometimes I will pull back slightly on the glue stick to ensure there is no positive pressure. I also unplug the gun shortly before I am done using it so that it begins to cool and coasts to the point where I am finished. Finally I always expect it to run and drip so I prepare by putting on a glass surface so that I can easily clean up any over run.
