I am working a project, where I need to measure the distance to ground in a outdoor-environment.
An example of this can be seen, below:
Expected distance above ground, will be in the range of 50-120 cm.
The array will be moving as shown below
Maximum speed is 12 km/h.
I have been looking at the following sensors:
- Sharp GP2Y0A02YK IR Range Sensor
- Ultra sound Sensors
- URG Laser Range scanner
The laser range scanner solution is to expensive for me, so that leaves the ir range finder and ultra sound.
Can anyone provide me sugestions for specific sensors, that could be used for this project ?
