I need a feature rich, upgradable, easy to implement DAQ with premade software. For example, the Pico brand Daqs come with FREE software called Picologger. Which you can create graphs in real time, save them, export the data, etc. But my experience with the Pico products was a bit of a letdown. The main problem I have is that the software doesn't always work right. Although that may be the laptop I use it on, I still want to try other options.
There is one catch, I do not want to write any software. I want to easily setup the software to do what I want. Here are my requirements: I need up to 6 real time graphs, I want to be able to save the graphs as a image, save the graph data in a spreadsheet, set start and stop times, it would be nice if I can configure the software to have certain titles on the graphs and charts, and I want to be able to put my own logo on the running software. It would be poor form if my device's GUI said something like "Electrotek Data Acquisition Software V1 Free Edition" everywhere. I want to use this software as frontend for some hardware I made.
The hardware outputs a 0-20mA or 4-20mA signal. So, sampling the current directly would be ideal. And at least 8bits of resolution would be good.
I tried Adamview products, and found the software package that came with to be cumbersome, and it did not meet the design's requirements.
Any other options out there?
