How do you monitor the power conversion from AC to DC in applications such as Solar Micro Inverters?

MAb

It's a key challenge to monitor and accurately control the power conversion from AC to DC in applications such as solar micro inverters because of safety and reliability in high voltage applications.

Actually, as you are dealing with very high, hence dangerous voltages it is  critical to be able to control any ramp up and ramp down and the voltage  range. it's also important to be able to monitor that effectively so you can detect  any issue and shut down in case of any issue to avoid a major incident. That's the case of high voltage power supplies

So how do you manage that ?

Texas Instruments has a whole line of AC-DC monitoring solutions. See here.

    And Freescale has the same.

Also, the Enphase Solar Micro Inverter system is monitorable via the internet. You may not have to build it at all.

    However, what is your application?
