I want to make a simple one shot timer circuit that is voltage controlled. This will be triggered periodically via a 1-5 VDC signal.
Additionally I want to vary the output pulse duration linearly with the voltage of the input signal.
After the pulse is sent, I want the circuit to reset and wait for additional inputs. Frequency may be seconds-hours apart.
Easy way to do it? 555 timer555 timer perhaps? I am a bit rusty on the 555 and definitely need some pointers.
