EPROM burner

I'm looking for an EPROM burner that can burn the following EPROM's.

27c010 or 27c1001

27c020

I saw a commercial USB EPROM burner for €50, but I would like to spend at least half of that if not lower. I have an old Win98 machine, so a programmer that uses a serial port should work too. I wouldn't mind a DIY programmer, as long as it doesn't cost too much.

Welcome to element14 Community - I'm not sure if you've seen this but there is a low-cost design called Willem. It looks like it is a more commercial product now but there is still schematics and layouts at:

and it looks like the most up-to-date software is available on the commercial site:

http://www.sivava.com/download.html

The Willem programmer is within my priceclass, even if I just buy it, but from what I've read around the internet there are a lot of problems with it. Am I concerned for nothing or are there known issues with this specific device? As for the ezoflash, it looks nice and if it's that much better than the Willem programmer, I might just make one. The only thing I'm concerned about is that the costs will pile up pretty fast for this thing. Are there kits for this device out there?
