how to increase sensitivity of FRDM KL25Z Touch Sensing to accommodate a glass

vinod_ganesh

HI ,

I would like to use a 2mm thick glass to be placed over the touch sensor and test the TSI interface.

I am not able to read through the glass.

What are the steps that needs to be followed to make the TSI respond with a glass overlay

regards

Vinod

    Hello Vinod,

I'd try to lower the THRESHOLD values in TSI.cpp:

Then I'm afraid I'm not the one who can answer your question...

The KL25 reference manual is very elaborate, so you might find something there that might be able to improve performance.

Good luck, and keep us posted if you find something!

    Hi Vinold,

The following links might be useful for you and anyone else trying to do this:

    Hopefully that might help!
