Hex file without using computer?????????

I want to burn the microcontroller hex file without computer, which I eventually got from any of the cross compiler for 8051/avr/pic/arm etc. I cannot carry laptop or desktop everywhere, keeping this in mind I want a solution which is much feasible and cheap.

Is is possible to transfer through cell phone/building app on it which can directly interact with uc's SPI port or serial port????? for burning the files.

Give me a solution..

All micros have different interfaces for in system programming. No programmer can be truly universal. You could make an adapter that talked to a smart phone or tablet by WiFi or BlueTooth and had SPI …

All micros have different interfaces for in system programming. No programmer can be truly universal. You could make an adapter that talked to a smart phone or tablet by WiFi or BlueTooth and had SPI , Serial and other interfaces. The parts won't cost much but the development will be significant.

If you want a lot of them it might be worth developing, otherwise just get a lighter lap top.

There are "programmers" that are just a separate MCU with an interface to target MCU. You can build your own using a MCU and the correct interface and add software code.
