What open source architecture design tool do you recommend?

Hi, could you recommend me an open source to design my embedded system project architecture?, actually I use diagrams.net to create my block diagrams but maybe there is a more professional tool, thanks

    OK, I have to admit it. I do have one box which is dual boot Linux / Windows 8 the reason is that I do most of my publications first with Open-Libre Writer and then I transfer it to the dual boot box and I run Correl / Ventura Publisher which gives me control that I want where Open-Libre Writer does not.  

    For those of you not familiar with Ventura it was the first of the PC desktop publishers. even before Quarkpress. It has features that make my life easier. This is NOT a WYSIWG editor, well sort of it is. Basically, you first define a page layout in frames, then you pour in your text and it just works. No funny stuff like in a list changing the font to match the first letter.. DUH??
