Hi there!
I have been wondering the past few days, exactly how does digital TV work? I have been looking for articles online and cannot find anything useful, does somebody have any resources they could share?
Thanks!

Hi Ryan,
Look into the MPEG wikia sections.
The MPEG standard defines how video is encoded for transmission and then reassembled on your TV or monitor screen.
By going digital, the video content is isolated from EM and atmospheric transmission effects, so you always get good crisp video and sound.
Sometimes you will see pixilation and dropouts due to the failure of your TV to adequately decode the MPEG signal or if the content fails the redundancy checks.
