    Christophe,

Can you upload a larger photo, hopefully a good close-up in focus photo?  That will help us identify it, and suggest an equivalent replacement part.

         Google translate:

Pouvez-vous télécharger une photo plus grande, espérons-le une bonne photo en gros plan? Cela nous aidera à l'identifier et à proposer une pièce de rechange équivalente.

    Allen

    Hi Christophe,

You can insert more than one photo in a single response, no need for so many separate responses (it generated 10 e-mails for me - almost thought it was spam).

Anyway, all the text/numbers on this part are needed.

The board looks a wreck.. repaired by someone who didn't know what they were doing. Are you sure that quartz crystal is the correct one? Your photo shows a through-hole part, but the PCB pads look rectangular, like that needed for a surface-mount part.

Did it ever function with the through-hole part? Do you have a photo of the original surface-mount part?

You may have to experiment and try different value crystals. But the text/numbers on the part shown in the photo below with the red arrow, may help but only slightly.

We just put the quartz back before taking the photo! Not at all touched the rest!

And no photo at all! the device worked before it ,the console (screens too),at the beginning I wanted to talk it again with a friend because the treadmill worked not in the morning (because of the humidity)we changed some components that looked good even when the display failed! So I think it’s quartz!

    Hi Christophe,

Someone has changed the capacitors too (they are to the left side of the quartz crystal in the photo). Did the board work with all these modifications?

The capacitors don't look correct to me (I would expect them to be thinner).

It was a mistake to change the crystal when the display stopped working.. Anyway, without information on the red arrow highlighted part, there's not anything to go on here.

If you can provide the detail of the red arrow part, then some crystal and capacitor suggestions can be made but it will be trial-and-error. And it may still not fix the display issue.

a ok ,effectively ,we should not have touched the quartz! ,d besides not being able to test it ,it can be good vs think? and that the concern will come from the fact that we are changing the components? thank you bcp
